Standards & Accreditation
A result is only as good as the method behind it. This page sets out how Attesta Labs develops, validates and controls the analysis it carries out.

Our approach to quality
Attesta Labs operates a documented quality system covering sample handling, method validation, instrument calibration and result review. Every certificate is checked and approved by a senior signatory before it is issued.
Recognised standards
Our analytical methods are developed and validated in line with internationally recognised standards, including:
- ISO/IEC 17025 — the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
- USP <621> — chromatography methodology for identity, purity and assay.
- Ph. Eur. 2.2.46 — chromatographic separation techniques.
- FDA 21 CFR Part 211 — current good manufacturing practice expectations for laboratory controls.
Aligning to these standards means our procedures are written, validated and reviewed against an external benchmark rather than internal preference.
Method validation
Before a method is used to report a result, it is validated for the parameters that matter to the measurement — including specificity, accuracy, precision and the limits of detection and quantification. Validation records are retained and available to merchant account holders on request.
Chain of custody
Each sample is logged, sealed and tracked from the moment it arrives until it is disposed of. Nothing is assumed about a sample’s identity; everything is recorded.
Instrumentation
Analysis is carried out on calibrated instrumentation, including HPLC-UV/DAD, LC-MS, ICP-MS and gas chromatography, with system suitability checked on every run. Methods are matched to the question being asked rather than to the equipment that happens to be free.
Verifiable certificates
Every certificate carries a unique code and resolves through our public verification page, so a result can be confirmed against the laboratory that issued it without an account or our involvement.
